Who we are

We are BLUSSH. Please note that throughout these terms when we mention “we”, “us”, “our” etc., we mean BLUSSH. When we refer to “you” we mean the user and/or browser of our website.

About these terms and conditions

You are reading the terms and conditions for use of the BLUSSH website. They make a legally binding contract between you and us. Your acceptance of the terms and conditions is made by you browsing our website and is dated to your first use of the website. If you do not accept the terms and conditions or any part of them you should stop using our website immediately.

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time which will take effect from the date of posting on the website. Your continued use of the site will mark your acceptance of any changes to the terms and conditions.

Our guiding principle is that your ‘personal data’ is only held to allow us to support and improve your customer relationship with BLUSSH. If you have any concerns about our use of your personal data please email heygirl@blusshromancefestival.com. We will investigate complaints, act on emails claiming unjustified exploitation of data and take such further action, as we, in our sole discretion, find appropriate.

Ticketing Terms & Conditions

BLUSSH 2024 ticketing terms and conditions are listed below. We sell tickets via FERVE, a third party ticketing agency. They are very good at what they do and we love working with them.

Cards

We accept Visa and Mastercard payments. We do not accept American Express.

Fees

All tickets are sold online via BLUSSH website. All transactions incur a transaction fee. 

Refunds

Please check your sessions, times. In the event that any event is cancelled, the full value will be refunded to the credit or debit card used for purchase. By law, BLUSSH will only provide refunds at our absolute discretion. Please note there are no partial refunds available.

Replacement Tickets

Tickets are automatically emailed along with your receipt after purchase. They can be accessed in the online account on the web used to make the booking at any time.

Exchanges

No exchanges.

Concessions

Available to full-time students, pensioners, healthcare card holders, unemployed and seniors. Concession cards must be shown at the box office, cinema doors and on request.

Attending with children

Children aged 2 years and younger are permitted free to screenings, provided they do not occupy their own seat. Please be aware standard film classification laws apply to films with 18+ restrictions.

Industry Concessions

We offer concessions to the following industry groups: Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA), Australian Film Institute (AFI), Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts (AACTA), Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA), Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), Australian Directors’ Guild (ADG), Australian Writer’s Guild (AWG), Australian Screen Editors (ASE), Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC), Australian Production Design Guild (APDG). Guild membership card must be shown at the box office, cinema doors and on request.

Tickets

Ticket prices and allocation are valid at the time of purchase and are subject to change.

Program Times

BLUSSH program times and details are subject to change without notice.

Latecomers

Your ticket guarantees admission if you are seated five minutes before the session begins. Latecomers enter at staff discretion.

For sessions that have a short film screening before a feature-length film, latecomers will not be permitted entry to the cinema after the short film commences. Entry may be granted after the short film concludes at staff discretion.

Cancellations

In the event of a cancelled screening, single tickets will be replaced by tickets of equal value.  

Classification

No one under 18 is admitted to 18+ films. Children under 15 will only be admitted to 15+ films with a parent or guardian. 

Entry to Sessions

All persons seeking admittance to attend an event or session must have a valid ticket, irrespective of their age.

Behavioural Standards

BLUSSH will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour of a theatening, aggressive, or abusive nature towards our audience members, guests, volunteers, staff or partner venue staff. Our Front of House team reserves the right to deny admission to our venues.

Companion Cards

Are accepted for all sessions. Companion Card tickets can be booked online by adding them to your cart and then entering your Companion Card number on checkout

Access

All venues have wheelchair access. 

Copyright

The use of cameras and other recording devices during BLUSSH sessions constitutes a breach of copyright and is strictly prohibited. Any person caught in the act of filming a festival session will be immediately expelled, and the pirated material will be seized. Such persons may be subject to legal action.

Copyright in our website

The images, graphics, text, applets and scripts operating our website (which, collectively, we call “Website Information”) are © BLUSSH 2024 unless otherwise stated. Copying Website Information into a computer cache or storage device for private on or off-line browsing purposes is also permitted. You may not make a copy of the Website Information or any part of it for any other purpose without our prior written consent, which may be granted at our discretion (or where we do not own the copyright, we will direct you to the owner themselves for such consent). Nothing in these terms and conditions or on our website constitutes a license to use or copy the Website Information.

Occasionally we may publish images or text in which the copyright is not owned by us. Where this is done, and where practicable, we acknowledge the copyright owner. Stills from films are used to promote festival screenings of those films, and their inclusion in the BLUSSH program.

Trademarks in our website

Where practicable, we acknowledge the owners of all trademarks which are referred to in our website.

Accuracy of the Website Information

BLUSSH website information is provided “as is” and we make no representation, endorsement or warranty as to its accuracy. We will not be liable for any action taken (or not taken) in reliance upon the website information and such action is taken entirely at your own risk. We reserve the right to make changes to the website information to correct any errors or omissions (or at our discretion) without notice and without liability to you.

External websites to which we provide hypertext links are not under our control and we take no responsibility and shall not be liable in any way for their content.

Some of the website information may be contributed to us by third parties and we do not control those parties or their information.

Opinions expressed within the website information are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent our opinions.

In the unlikely event that you find any inaccurate information on our website or have any complaint about what we have published please email heygirl@blushromancefestival.com. We will investigate on receipt and take such further action, as we, in our sole discretion, find appropriate.

Gift Voucher Conditions

Gift Vouchers are treated as cash, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Vouchers can be used to redeem products sold via the ticketing channels only.

Vouchers cannot be redeemed for events ticketed by external venues.

Vouchers cannot be used for any other purchases (including without limitation, candy bar purchases or any purchases from organiser partners and/or sponsors) unless expressly specified.

Vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged (whether in whole or in part) for cash.

The value stated on the voucher (or remaining on the voucher after partial redemption) is expressed inclusive of GST.

Any purchases which exceed the value of the gift voucher will require the holder to pay the difference in price using another form of tender.

Any balance that remains on the voucher after expiry will not be available for any use.

Vouchers will expire after closing night event of the festival.
